Bamboo - Effortless Investment 4+

Good app for beginners

I don’t know a lot nor have the time to study how to invest in crypto but I know I need to do it sooner rather than later. Bamboo helped me do that. I love the ease of the app but I wish I could track the fees in the activity section. With out seeing them clearly it makes it seems a little like they are hiding them. We all know nothing is free so don’t mind paying, but would like to be able to track. I’d also like to see a graph of my investment over time. Not the currency but my investment. Thanks for helping me jump in.

No round up, just lump-sum deposit. Pathetic!

How this app currently works is, if i buy a coffee for $4.70, then $0.30 will be added to a “roundup meter”. However, $0.30 is only added once the total roundup meter reaches $50. So I have to earn $50 worth of roundups and then it will take $50 from my bank account and add it to my balance on the app, whereby it’ll invest it.

I get that the bank won’t consistently allow $0.10-$1 transactions for roundups, but PLEASE reduce the $50 roundup meter requirement to $10-$20, as for students who are tying to save, $50 suddenly taken out of their account is a horrible thing. It was this reason that I deleted this app and downloaded other apps like Raiz. Please make these changes and i’ll be more than happy to use your app again!

While it's true that the minimum payment for a round up is currently set at $50 in a lump sum amount, the Bamboo team is open to set a lower amount to make our users' experience better and inclusive for all. We understand the need to do this and so we will be implementing it in the future version of the app. We'll let you know soon.
